2022 

Received the 11th position in the “Ghana Club 100” and placed highest of the Companies offering savings and loans. Awarded by Ghana Investment Promotion Center on behalf of the Government of Ghana. This year the award reviewed performance of the past three years, as it was postponed due to Covid-19.

2019

This year’s award was held for 2018 which saw the presence of the President of the republic of Ghana (Nana Addo-Danquah Akuffo Addo), and the Prime Minister of Barbados (Mia Amor Mottley) gracing the occasion. ASA Savings and Loans was awarded the 6th position at the Ghana Club 100 Awards.

2018

  • The Students Loan Trust Fund recognised the organisation’s exemplary performance in repaying student loans on behalf of the employees.
  • ASA Savings and Loans received the 12th position for the 2017 GC100 Awards.

2016

The preceding year’s performance of the company helped to place it at the 17th position in the GC100 awards of 2016. The company furthermore was awarded the 2016 GC 100 Leader in the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Sector Ranking in Ghana. This was a remarkable improvement from the previous year.

2014

  • ASA Savings and Loans received the Overall Best Taxpayer in Ghana at the Medium Taxpayer Office. This award was handed by Ghana Revenue Authority to ASA for the important contribution made to their growth and the nation in terms of revenue generation. Awarded were the company’s achievements in the areas of corporate tax, PAYE and withholding tax obligations: The company’s distinguished role on the various tax obligations were timely and accurate for over the years.
  • The prestigious Ghana Club 100, organized by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, on behalf of the Government of Ghana, placed ASA Savings and Loans the 20th position. The institution considers all leading companies in Ghana and recognition is given to the first 100 with outstanding performance for the period under review. His Excellency the President of Ghana, the Finance Minister, the Governor of Bank of Ghana, CEO of Ghana Investment Promotion Council, Senior Public figures and CEOs of leading private companies, all present during the annual award ceremony.

2013

The first award received by ASA Savings and Loans Limited was the Seal of Transparency award for the period June, 2013 and June, 2014 for participating in the country’s Transparent Pricing Initiative. This Seal of Transparency is awarded by the highly respected MicroFinance Transparency institution to the providers of microfinance who become transparent in their product pricing. By this ASA Savings and Loans Ltd. had presented a transparent product pricing regime that showed balance and responsible pricing of its products. This award is a valuable way for MFIs to distinguish themselves from their competitors, get the attention of investors and gain visibility within the international microfinance community.
