ASA Savings & Loans Limited was incorporated under the laws of Ghana in June 2009 with registration number CA-60,423 (currently CS101382016 after re-registration). The company is also registered with the Ghana Investment Promotion Center and licensed by the Bank of Ghana. ASA Savings & Loans Limited is a subsidiary of ASA International, one of the world’s largest international microfinance institutions in the world. ASA Savings & Loans Limited started operations in 2008 and has branches across nine regions in Ghana.

ASA Savings & Loans is a for-profit, deposit-taking savings and loan company that provides small, socially responsible, loans for income-generating purposes to low-income, predominantly female entrepreneurs. They provide these loans using the ASA model of microfinance.
